We were told by my husbands company, with very little advanced notice, that we would be transferred from the NYC office to the Los Angeles office. After nearly a month of waiting (2 other companies were unable to find carriers for several weeks) I was skeptical of going with another broker company. It had been a long month with a baby, no car, and a new city! Direct Express even quoted me a lower rate than the previous companies. However, I was reassured by a representative that they had a good record of getting cars shipped in a timely manner, and sure enough, our car was shipped several days later. With the other companies, I had to constantly call to find out if any progress had been made but not with Direct Express. They actually called me several times to let me know exactly where the car was and what I should expect. Will, the man who actually shipped our car, was very friendly and personable. Our car looked just like we had left it. Moving across the country was very stressful, I just wish I had called Direct Express from the very beginning.
