It never got picked up...

DAS was recommended by the dealer from whom I purchased my car. I had never bought a car from out of state before so this was a new experience for me. I figured my dealer's reference would be a good one.

DAS was great at first. Quoted price terminal to terminal in an enclosed trailer. Janis said it was scheduled to arrive in 16 days but would "probably get there sooner". Sounded good.

14 days later my car hadn't moved from their terminal. My new Audi sat outside in a Pittsburgh snowstorm for 2 weeks. The whole time the automated service still said the car was scheduled to arrive on time. Yeah right. After lengthy hold times every time I called, and when NO ONE could tell me why my car hadn't moved, I cancelled the order and had my dealer go back to pick the car up. They took $100 from me for cancelling. Screw them.

I switched my order to White Lightning Transport. Their quote was $1250 from dealer to my driveway. The car got back to the dealership Wednesday, was picked up Thursday, and arrived in Seattle on Sunday morning at 9:45am. The car took 3 DAYS to get from Pittsburgh to Seattle - 3 drivers drove nearly around the clock. The driver was 45 minutes late but communicated with me via phone. The car came in PERFECT shape. Not a scratch. I didn't even want to bother with DAS after reading the reviews on here.

DAS is a joke. Don't even bother.

Give me my $100 back, you crooks.

DAS has researched this issue. The vehicle was dropped off at the Pittsburgh terminal on 12/28 with an ETA to destination of 01/13. On 01/07 (6 days prior to due date), the customer advised us that he was going to have the vehicle picked up by another carrier. Essentially, DAS was not even given a chance to get the vehicle to destination before the customer opted to cancel. We're glad to hear that the customer was able to find an alternate carrier to better meet his needs and expectations.
