Very Average Service - Vehicle Tracking a Myth

I had DAS do a coast to coast move from NH to NV which took 10 days. This was the expedited service and 10 days was met and the vehicle arrived in satisfactory condition. Nothing was damaged or lost. Scheduling and pick-up was easy and timely as was delivery. The overall experience was very average and uneventful. What bothers me is that they sell there customers on 24 hour online "real time" satellite tracking of your car. In reality what you get is "once a day" reporting around 9AM of where the car was at some point in the last 24 hours. Satisfactory service but no ability to track your vehicle in "real time"

Mr. Mayer is correct. Regrettably, the truck that transported this vehicle was having trouble with its Qualcomm unit. Rather than slow the shipment down to have it repaired, we opted to use manual updating until the truck reached destination. We felt it more prudent to get the shipment to destination on time than to address the tracking problem and be late.
