It was bad enough that they estimated a 2 week delivery and the car arrived 5 weeks later. That was also shipping from Florida to North-West Texas (Amarillo) in May and June. There was no bad weather and one highway will get you here most of the way. It made it a couple hundred miles to Georgia where it sat for 3 weeks. Then made it to Dallas (quite a bit South of Amarillo, and definitely out of the way) where it sat for about another 2 weeks. When it made it to Amarillo, they forgot to call me. It sat there for 3 days when I got a call to see if anyone had told me it had arrived yet!!!!!

The worst part was that when the car was received their was a black rub mark (i was told it was probably from loading/unloading on the truck, Lexus IS300=low to the ground) on the underside of the front bumper. It was about 8in long and 2 1/2in wide. Dependable Auto Shippers said that since SMALL ROCK SHIPS and TOUCH UP PAINT (touching up rock chips) was noted on that area of the car prior to shipping, that this must be existing damage and they would not cover the repair. I don't know about you, but an 8inX2in black mark and a rock chip don't look a lot alike to me!!!!! The cost of repair was estimated @ $578.

Pay the $500 extra and have someone else ship your car!
