I drove 2 cars 4 hours one way to drop off a car for shipment to New England from Sacramento, CA Pre-paid, broker knew that I have a restored/ valuable French classic. With-in 5 minutes of arriving at the DAS terminal, Joseph from "Fast-Track Towing" refused my car. I later learned that he refused the car because I had a small list of instructions for the shipper. These were helpful hints in the event that the shipper was unfamiliar with this French classic. I thought that I was being helpful but apparently the morons at Fast Track Towing can only deal with single digiit IQ drivers. The real frustrating thing was that I was given no explanation or reason for refusing the car. I left the car there for a week because DAS promished to ship the car "Special Delivery."
They were going to work on it and get back to me. Well they never did, I always had to call them and each time I was made to feel as if I did something wrong. No-where in their contract does it state that a car can not be accompanied with starting instructions yet that was their basis for refusing my car, The following weekend I had to return with another driver to pick the car up. A total of 2 trips with 2 drivers for a grand total of 14 hour drive. To add insult to injury, never, not once did anyone from DAS or Fast Track Towing in Sacramento apologize. Great way to run a business.
