No amount of words can express my true fustration towards this company, they simpley ruined my entire "new car" experience through delays, more delays, and lies! My car was scheduled for pick up on the 22 May, from Iowa to Bahrain ETA July 28th (9.5 weeks). After a torturous experience with DAS, the actual duration: 22 May - 10 Sept (16 weeks)!!!! I went through a series of delays and re-scheduling both within the USA and internationally to my final destination. The support i received was so rediculous that I ended up taking the follow up directly with the freight company and copmletley skipped DAS.

Just to show you an example of the multiple excuses/lies I received, below are email extracts: Once the car was at the NY port, the 3 week delay hit as per the below:

"Unfortunately, your vehicle is not sailing today per there is no vessel available date provided was an estimated and was never confirmed." M- Diaz

16 weeks later when my car arrived, I asked another rep why my car was in a 40 foot container with another car when i asked for a 20 foot. The response I received was that I didn't order a 20 foot and was put in for the consolidated service (40 foot):

"Is this consolidated service the reason why my car was held at DAS for 3 weeks when you first received it?" - Hussain
"Sir, this is the reason the car was here waiting for so much time." - C. Bien

Eaither the car was delayed to due vessel availability or due to consolidated service that lowers their costs... it can't be both!!!

Looking back, I would have hahppily paid twice the price for a more professional and commited company. This was my first and definatley my last experience with DAS.

Last note, Cristina Santiago was the ONLY person that actually helped as much as possible and tried to make this a good experience. THANK YOU Cristina, hope they learn a thing or two from you!!
