It took 7 weeks to get my car from Arkansas to upstate NY. I understand the difficulty of getting a driver to a rural community but I was deceived into agreeing to a drop-off point 140 miles from my home because I trusted the carrier and didn't read the dispatch carefully. My fault. Had to pay an extra $200 to have my car delivered to my actual address. It was a lie through omission- the Cavalier dispatcher never actually mentioned the drop-off point to me (Albany, NY) in a phone conversation- only said, "We found a driver!" 15 minutes after I sent an email canceling the service after 7 weeks of waiting for delivery.

I feel deceived and misled. Very unhappy with the feeling of being scammed. I've already been told I will not get my $200 back because I agreed to the drop-off point 140 miles from my house. My mistake for trusting the dispatcher and not reading carefully.

I'm glad to have the car- but very disappointed that the original contract with Cavalier (through Uship) was not carried out as agreed upon and I'm left looking the fool because I trusted Cavalier enough not to change my drop-off point just so they could secure a driver to Albany, NY instead of my hometown.

No other words- disappointed with what appeared to be courteous, sincere, personable communication.

Rance your original location was in Keeseville NY. We called over 150 carriers in NY and not one would go there. Finally you gave us the option to meet in Albany. Once you said you were willing to go there we found a driver within a week. At no point did we take more money from you. We apologize if you felt mislead but at no point did we lie to you. We did everything that you asked of us. Again going to Albany was your idea not ours.
