Ruined my daughter's surprise gift. I don't know where to begin... things seemed to be on the up and up at the beginning. I got a quote from them that was the lowest out of others. (It's true, you DO get what you pay for.) I was upfront from the beginning and told Ella that my car had to be delivered by the 20th and asked what would be the last day I could book pickup in order for the car to be there. I was told it would take 3 - 4 days travel time and that the latest day to book was at least 5 - 6 days. I booked the car the next day and waited for instructions. I was told that she was checking around for a carrier and would forward me their info. I confirmed on the contract the pickup date and again made it clear the delivery date. Well I finally got an email from her with the carrier DY Trucking. The car was supposed to be picked up on Saturday. I hadn't heard anything from the carrier so I called. Well to my surprise when I spoke to Deo, he told me the car was scheduled for pick up on Sunday... Sunday night after 7:30pm. WTH Then he told me that the car was not scheduled to be delivered until FRIDAY. WTH! He was sympathetic and said he would try to have the car delivered on Thursday and that he would have not taken the car if he know they could not deliver on the quoted date. He later told me that he said he would have it delivered by Friday and that Ella said that was fine. Probably because she could not find any other companies to accept the car for the quoted price of $495. Oh by the way, the car wasn't delivered until Saturday. Poor customer service by Ella... she said she was going to contact the DY Trucking and see what she could do and then follow up with us... yeah, right, that never happened. Super ridiculous poor service by Movewheels.com and DY Trucking. They were both trying to throw each other under the bus, while my car sat for days. Thanks for nothing
