Scam. Kate from Movewheels.com (also known as BWT Group LLC) was the lowest bid for $700 to transport my vehicle in an enclosed carrier. She had 3 weeks and at the end, informed me a driver cancelled. She said she had other options so I was not to worry since I was out of town. Unfortunately, those other options were an open carrier for more money, and the same enclosed carrier for twice the money $1400! This was bait and switch, it was not honoring the contract, and simply refusing to listen. She was apparently new, but her manager never jumped in either.
The real dishonesty comes in when I spoke with other brokers and saw what she was posting on the transportation board about my car: "customer credit card ready", "$1500", etc. etc. and telling me there were only two drivers on this route. She tried multiple times to get me to agree to much higher prices.
Apparently this is standard practice for them as other industry drivers do not work with them anymore. Customers shouldn't either, as low-balling and then doubling and failing leaves the customer hanging at the last minute and open to having no choice. I will be pursing them for the difference once I get my car.
