Terrible Service

I certainly will not use AutoStar again, unless given some compensation and honest explanation as to the delay and dramatic cost hikes during the proccess.

I was quoted $650.00 and was charged $775.00. The pick up date was 8 days late. Drew Robinson was incompetent. He never returned my calls or emails. I was left waiting, wondering if my car was ever going to be delivered. I never had a since of security or sufficient information. Moving is expensive and stressful and AutoStar added an exponential amount of stress and cost.

Thank you for the time to write a review. We do appreciate feedback in order to become a better, stronger company. We apologize in the delay for securing a transport for the vehicle. The dispatch department spoke with numerous carriers, but of the two carriers that we initially had for this transport, both failed the screening process and background check through the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. AutoStar could not in good conscience dispatch the vehicle to either of these two carriers, though they did match the small pickup window desired by Mr. Steele. Furthermore, the order was booked at the base rate for moving a vehicle within 10 days - this does require flexibility in timing, and expedited shipping options are available. When Mr. Steele decided the transport was urgent, he was given the option of an expedited shipment in order to quickly facilitate the transport of the vehicle, to which he agreed. We are sorry Mr. Steele feels he received less than exceptional service from AutoStar, however, Drew and the dispatch and customer service team were in contact with Mr. Steele and his wife at least every other day with status updates.
