Liars and won't pay

I hired another company who in turn hired ASAPT to do the actual transporting of my car. The pickup went fine. We had a nice conversation about the woman who was with the driver (his wife, according to him) and how nice it was that she got to travel with him on the road. The dropoff is where it all went downhill. While backing my car off of the truck, the ramp caught on the bottom of my front bumper. His wife came over and stood on the ramp to lower it enough to back my car the rest of the way off. This left a gash/tear in my bumper along with scratches. It's now been over 2.5 months and they've been sent multiple estimates for repairs. The owner David has agreed to repair the damages as long as I would send him the bumper to see the damages that the driver did, which I agreed. The driver has lied and continues to lie by denying the accident even happened. He says there was damages already there, which the paperwork I signed at the drop off has nothing in that area of my vehicle. He also denies that his wife was with him. After the owner agreed to pay the repair cost, he disappeared. He won't call me or the company that contracted the job back and I haven't received a check for the repairs. DO NOT HIRE THEM! They are the most dishonest and immoral company I have ever worked with. The cost to fix the damages is more than the cost to transport my car from one end of the country to the other and now I will have to pay it myself because this company has decided to ignore their responsabilities.
