If I could give out red flags instead of stars I would give the company 5 red flags. I have never written a review but I thought this would be necessary because American Auto Shipping lacks integrity. We decided to ship our car from Las Vegas to Garden Grove, Ca. approx 260 miles. We were on vacation, we’re having car troubles, already had costly repairs done that did not fix the problem and staying in a hotel. We chose AAS as they had an office very close to where we were staying and they would allow us to park the car at their facility until a carrier was able to pick it up. Typically 1 to 5 days. We arrived at their office on a Thursday and spoke with Kourtney, placed a deposit and left her the key. Kourtney instructed us to take pictures of the car and email them to AAS. Why she didn’t take pictures and record the odometer was puzzling to us. We took the pictures, left and felt confident that the car was in good hands and it would be delivered in a timely manner. The following Monday we received a text from B&K Transport hired by AAS that our car had been picked up and will be delivered on Tuesday. Tuesday we received a text from B&K that the truck transporting the vehicle broke down and delivery would be day late. Wednesday the car is delivered and when we pick it up…………this where it gets interesting. The odometer has 454 more miles on it than when we left it, the gas tank is at a ¼ full (we left it with ¾ tank), the mileage counter has been set to zero and the radio was preset to different stations. We have pictures and documentation to back this up. It appears that the car was on a lengthy road trip and who knows what kind of illegal activity might have taken place. We did not give anyone permission to use our car other than to transport it via carrier due to the fact that we weren't comfortable driving it across the desert. We questioned the driver from B&K (Vladmir) and he denied any knowledge and to contact AAS. He would not release our car unless we paid him. We called AAS immediately and it was extremely difficult to get to talk to a manager. Finally after numerous calls, texting and emails we spoke to Rachel who said that she would be able to resolve this if we were to send her our pictures. AAS did not have any documentation of the condition that we left the car in and was not able to produce an original BOL. We sent Rachel the pictures, details of when they were taken and the timestamp of the location when taken. We did not hear anything from Rachel so we reached out again. A few days later Anthony Ward (Manager of AAS) contacted us and said the pictures have no relevance and the BOL from the driver was a binding document and he is basing his decision on that. No compensation whatsoever. We reached out to the vice president of AAS (Mark Larsen) via email. He contacted us via email and said he would investigate. 6 days later Mark replies back to us via email and states that the pictures that we sent were altered and that we committed a crime! Mark also accused us of fraud and extortion in his email. AAS slanders us and spins it to where we are at fault due to their lack of internal procedures. For Mark to respond in this way was to hide the fact that wrong was done on their end and to scare people that were treated unfairly. American Auto Shipping lacks professionalism and integrity. Next will be a response from AAS saying that our review is not being truthful and they will try to discredit it. Judge for yourself, but why would we go to the trouble of posting this.

We allowed Mike to leave his car in our office parking lot at his own risk for free as he had to leave town. Boy was that a mistake. Mike claimed we drove his crappy 2010 car 459 miles over the weekend. He sent a montage of pictures from his phone and the one of the odometer was blurry. He then tried to tell us we had to buy the car, when we said no, he wanted the shipping for free, when we said no he threatened us. Interesting note his email address is gotcha@xxx.com
