After conducting several hours' worth of research on various ways to get my vehicle from Florida to Minnesota, AmeriFreight came out on top. First and foremost, AmeriFreight is accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Many other companies that I looked into were nowhere to be found within the BBB. Can you spell b-a-d- -n-e-w-s? My decision to use AmeriFreight was further solidified by all of the positive remarks on the various review websites, such as this one.
My broker representative was Graham. He was very helpful and honest, making sure to lay out all the facts on the table rather than sugar-coat them. I selected the Economy Saver rate for $930, since my dates were pretty flexible, and opted in for the $68 AFTA gap insurance coverage. After ten days of receiving no carrier acceptances as well as several conversations with Graham, I chose to upgrade to the Priority Preferred rate for an additional $150 (approximately). After several more days of no acceptances, I talked to Graham, who started taking money from the deposit (AmeriFreight's cut of the deal) to increase the bid price, making sure that I didn't have to put more money down again. Still nothing. So Graham put some more of the deposit money on the bid. Two days after this second increase, I received a call that a carrier (Harris AutoTransport) was willing to ship my vehicle, and they were planning on picking it up two days after that.
The delivery date that was originally anticipated was seven days after the date of pick-up. However, I got a call less than 48 hours after pick-up saying that the vehicle would arrive that evening or the next day (whichever worked for me). The vehicle arrived in perfect condition and now I can finally enjoy my new ride - even earlier than I was expecting!
I am the type of person that hates not knowing specific details, so the concept of just letting the car sit at the pick-up location was relatively unnerving. However, Graham and AmeriFreight were worth the trust I put in them to make sure my vehicle got to where I needed it to be. Thank you very much for the premium level of service you provided!
