The people at AmeriFreight were helpful and courteous. They worked quickly and efficiently to help get my car across the country in a timely manner. The shipping quote they gave me was pretty accurate, and as indicated by my research very competitive.

I originally went with their economy saver rate, which while a very good deal, only puts you on standby, and you have to weight for a carrier to accept your bid. I waited for a week without hearing anything, and time was of the essence so I switched to their 2-day guaranteed service, which turned out to be well worth the extra money.

By the end of the next day, I received a call from the customer service department, telling me that a carrier had been found. I had to pay an extra $100 dollars (because the carrier wanted more money than the quote anticipated) but agreed because the carrier could be there in 2 days.

The carrier turned up a day late, but was courteous and took good care of my car. He got it across country, from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles, within 5 days. It was an overall good experience, and I would certainly hire them again if I move.
