Good Agency, Bad Carrier

The customer service by AmeriFreight was top notch. Any time I had a question or problem, they were glad to help. Everything was explained or solved for me. The carrier, Mobile Transport Inc., was not so good. I never got enough notice ahead of time before they said they would pick up the vehicle and they were late with pick up and delivery. There was also a shady request by Mobile Transport to have me mail the payment to the company before the car was delivered. I spoke about the issue with AmeriFreight and the issue was resolved so I would only pay the driver upon delivery. Overall, I appreciated the customer service from AmeriFright, but Mobile Transport made me worry and gave me headaches. If possible, request another carrier. On a positive note, the car did arrive at the destination in good condition.

Every carrier we use if screened for quality. If a carrier has failed to give us excellent service, the carrier goes through a review process. The order was at the Economy rate which is our standby rate with estimated pickup and delivery dates. If exact dates are needed, we recommend one of our upgraded rates. This order was handled by our Shipping Agent- David, direct line- 678-369-0942.
