Overall, A Positive Experience

I used this service to ship a car for my husband's birthday. Thank God I started early. The rep was very interested in me before I gave him my credit card number and became a bit short with me after he had a contract.

Since the goal of these services is to match you with a transport carrier, I think they kind of missed the mark. 3 calendar weeks went by before we came to a solution that got my car picked up, and that solution was offered by the person from whom I was getting the vehicle. Considering these people do this all day long, it seems they should have been able to check a map and provide me with at least one alternate location to speed things up. I also was not provided with clear information about the rebate, or the fact that it shrinks if you wait more than 24 hours to write your review.

That said, this whole thing is a bit like buying a house. Once you sign up with your nationally rated builder, the quality of your product really rests with the contractors actually doing the work (unless something goes terribly wrong and you have to fall back on the protections of the builder). Thankfully, I had a great carrier (Red Line). They were friendly, understanding (lots of secrecy because this car was a birthday gift), and helpful.

In short, I received my vehicle in a relatively short time period, once it was picked up. It arrived just as it had left. The driver was nice. I'm glad this is all done.

This customer had a somewhat remote pickup location and put the order in under the Economy Standby Rate. She is correct in that it was good she started early. The customer was very cooperative as we looked into various options to get this moved for her. With the Economy rate, there is always the option to add money, or look at different pickup/delivery locations to help expedite the order. We are glad to hear the customer was pleased with the carrier we contracted to move her vehicle. We do not charge the customer's credit card until a carrier is secured.
