I would my rate Ameri-Freight car shipping experience as excelent overall. The shipping price was very reasonable when compaired to other shipping brokers that had at least an "A" rating with the BBB.

Ameri-Freight was able to answer all my question concernong the shipping process and payment. I used the cheapest shipping option because I was not in a hurry to have the car picked up, took two weeks to have the car picked up . I do not reccomend this option if you need to have the car shipped quickly. However, the car did arrive at the destination in a short time, 3 days.

The car arrived somewhat dirty, as it was shipped in an open container, but it did have any damage and otherwise arrived in the same condition that it left.

The only thing that I could have been improved, was the amont of notice I received for the car being picked up. Ameri-Freight called at 7:30 PM on Tuesday evening and said the car would be picked up on Wednesday morning. I was able to work out arrangements for someone to be avalible, but more advance notice could be needed for "working people" to make arrangements to be there for the car pickup.

The one other item to note is, Ameri-Freight said the carrier had to be paid in cash or a casher's check. When the car arrived at the destination, the carrier told my sister, who was receiving the car, that they did not take casher's checks and he would have to verrify the funds were good before he would leave the car. It happened the issuing bank was very close by, so this was not a problem in my case, but it could cause significant problems for someone else actualy receiving their car.
