After receiving several quotes from shipping companies over the past month, I found AmeriFreight's quoted price was reasonably competitive. I also checked various reviews and contacted the Better Business Bureau to assess the quality of various companies. AmeriFreight was ranked highly, which solidified my decision to ship my car through them. The customer service staff were friendly and helpful. However, there seemed to be some disconnect between the price quoted to me for the deposit and the amount I was required to pay. Additionally, although my shipping quote from AmeriFreight was quite competitive, the actual shipper requested an additional $170 at the time the vehicle was dispatched, which pretty much negated my original quote. As the car has not been picked up or delivered yet, I cannot speak to the quality of service related to this process.
