After trying another transporter who agreed to match Amerifreight's price and not having any luck ever getting someone to pick up my luxury SUV, I went back to Amerifreight. What some of these brokers don't tell you is that although they will match another company's quote they do not reduce their commission and you will end up with your car sitting forever or having to pay them more because the amount they are paying the actual carrier is too low. I found out that Amerifreight's original quote was lower than the other company because Amerifreight was taking less of a cut as their commission and therefore my car would be more likely to get picked up on time with them. So, I cancelled the other company and went to Amerifreight.

My experience with Amerifreight was excellent. I opted for the "Select" service which was a little bit more (but still less than the other company wanted to charge me), because I wanted the car picked up soon. I was transporting a high end Range Rover and wanted an enclosed carrier, which can sometimes take a little longer to locate than an open carrier. When it wasn't picked up in the 2 day time window which is offered with the "Select" service, Amerfrieght put more of their own commission money up so that it would get picked up. The day they offered more of their own money they found a transporter. The transporter they selected did a great job as well. He went from northern California to Georgia in just 4 days, much less than the average estimated time of 7 to 10 days. The car arrived without any damage and was delivered directly to my door. Moving a luxury car across country can be a scary experience since you have no control over the car until it is delivered. But, Amerifreight actually made the experience somewhat enjoyable. All in all I would definitely recommend Amerifreight and will be using them again next time I have a car to transport.
