It was a bit unclear but important to note that AmeriFreight bids out the job to various carriers. The price you are willing to pay determines the bid price and also the likelihood that a carrier will pick it up in short order. We chose the cheapest option and nobody bid on it for 2 weeks. Then, we bumped the price up and got a carrier in another week or so. So, go for the higher rates if you want to ensure pickup in a timely manner.
