This was the first time we shipped our Caddy by truck and chose Amerifreight because of their good reputation and competitive rate. We were pleasantly surprised how smoothly everything went from first contact to final delivery 1200 miles away. Arranging for a driver was done expeditiously in spite of our traveling in a very busy month of October. They lived up to their claim of choosing only the top drivers as he was on time for pick up and on time for the delivery. The car arrived with no damage and minimal road dirt.
In the past we have always driven back and forth from our Florida home to our home in Connecticut. It has always taken us a couple of days to recouperate after the two and a half day driving ordeal. From now on we will be flying and shipping our car via AmeriFreight. With the high price of fuel, the cost of meals plus two nights in a motel as well as the wear and tear on the car we think our new way of traveling is just as economical and a lot kinder on older bodies. At first, we were quite apprehensive over using any such brokers for shipping our car (and there are a lot of them who hound you for your business). Fortunately for us we chose the right one with AmeriFreight
