Long Delay In Delivering Vehicle

I ordered delivery of my car through Amerifreight on December 31, 2009. It is now January 20, 2010, and Amerifreight has never even found a carrier to pick up my car in Ohio, let alone deliver it to California. Despite my frequent calls and emails, Amerifreight seems utterly unable to locate a carrier and perform their side of the contract. Amerifreight has turned my shipping experience into a nightmare. Even though I was patient and flexible, now they've put me into a bad situation where they've taken so long my temporary tags may expire before I ever get the car.

We are sorry to hear that the customer is not satisfied with the shipping rate he chose. The customer opted for our Economy Saver rate. No charges have been made to this customer as we do not charge deposit until a carrier is secured. The Economy Saver rate is our bargain rate that has a standby pickup timeframe. It is ideal for those who do not have any time constraints and want to ship at the cheapest rate. Our staff is continuing to work on this customer's route to secure a carrier. We have been and will continue to work under the terms of the Economy rate with this customer unless the customer chooses one of the alternative options. When considering shipping your vehicle, if you are under time contraints, we highly recommend our Priority Preferred rate that offers guaranteed pickup.
