Communication with amerifreight was good until the order was actually placed. The email to place the order for shipping was sent 11/25/09. I never received an email for any more information until I called to asked the status. I was told they were "busy." I finally received a request for documentation on 11/30/09. If I hadn't called, I'm not sure when I would have been contacted. A driver did not agree to accept the quoted price until 12/05/09. The Vehicle was picked up on 12/08/09 and delivered 12/10/09.

Once the car was assigned a carrier, the driver stayed in constant communication. He picked a day after the first estimated date and delivered a day after the first estimated delivery date. He took good care of the vehicle and was very nice.

We were due a refund of $50 plus another refund of $35 for being military. It took several unanswered e-mails to amerifreight and at least 4 weeks before we finally received both refunds.

In the end, everything worked out ok. It wasn't the nightmare you hear about MANY carriers, however it was still more hassle than it should have been. Given that, I would definately use them again but they do need to brush up on customer service.

We do apologize for the delays the customer experienced. When an order is placed, each customer is emailed an Order Form with the explanation to fax back immediately. It seems the customer did not recieve this email after placing the order and thus caused some confusion, for this we are sorry. AmeriFreight will refund customers the amount due them. Again, we do apologize for the delay that occurred with the holiday season. We are glad to hear that the customer was pleased with the carrier and that the vehicle was recieved in good condition.
