My contact was Jonathan. He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I had done a lot of research on the auto shipping business and he patiently answered all of my questions without pressuring me with a sales pitch to book with Amerifreight. He was very knowledgeable. I paid an extra $295 for a guaranteed 2 day pickup so my quote was $1115 (I qualified for a student discount). Unfortunately, the carrier did not pick up my vehicle within that 2 day window. I contacted Jonathan who helped track down the carrier's whereabouts & informed me that the premium I paid would be deducted from the balance due to the carrier upon delivery. While there was no guarantee on a delivery time, it was estimated to take 7-10 days. There was some delay as the carrier's truck broke down but 12 days later my car made it cross country with no damage and nothing stolen, and the driver had been informed that he was being penalized the $295 as he defaulted on the 2 day pick up guarantee. Overall, I was extremely satisfied in my dealings with Amerifreight, despite the fact that my car was picked up and delivered late as that was entirely the responsibility of the carrier.
