We chose to do priority shipping to transport 2 of our vehicles. It was a pretty straightforward transaction. The actual customer service person - the first one to contact within the numerous people you'd talk to for shipping, was actually pretty helpful and informative. Most of the customer service seemed to be pretty helpful, when my main contact isn't available. It just started becoming weird after talking to one of the dispatchers. She had called me and mentioned that they had found a transporter willing to take it on a sunday and drop it off on tuesday. We were pretty skeptical that they could do it that fast because it needs to be dropped off at the very edge of washington state. I said that it is pretty early and what if the carrier would end up being late? I didn't want to get our hopes up because of the date they gave us and turns out it won't be there. She replied back "Well what do you want me to do?" in a pretty harsh, almost mad tone. At that point...I figured I was talking to a 14 year old that doesn't know a thing about customer service. It was an odd reaction, and i didn't know how to answer to such tone and mind set. She then proceeded saying that "Well, I could double check it" and said she'd give me a call. Hours have passed and figured she wouldn't call me back because typically it's pretty fast to double check something small of an information. I went ahead and called the same dispatcher and told me that she's not handling it anymore and have to proceed and talk to the customer service. So that was weird 'cause then she didn't even bother to let me know that it transferred back to that division. She then proceeded to transfer me to the customer service and from then on it was an easier transaction. That same dispatcher however, was still the one that had to call me back to finalize the carrier we chose. And I pretty much realise at this time, that all she could handle is a yes or no answer, because if you had her explain anything, it's almost like it's my fault for trying to know what I need to know as a customer. If anyone's wondering, don't take the dispatcher named Red. Or if you do, don't have her explain much, because you'll just have a bad day. It's a pretty easy name to remember. Other than that, it sounds like this broker, does choose pretty good carriers. We got our cars safe and sound, dirty but still in the same condition overall and in a timely manner.
