I knew I had to move a car from Arizona to Virginia, and had no idea how much it was "supposed" to cost. I did some shopping and found both quality reviews, and a good price from AmeriFreight. I called in pretty early on a Monday morning and was greeted by Red and while she was not the representative indicated in my email quote was very helpful in answering my questions and was able to get me on the path towards getting my new wheels to VA. Jonathan followed up shortly thereafter, and answered the outstanding questions I had. I then completed my order online using the AmerFreight secure server, and it was pretty painless. Everything was set very quickly. They will then contact you when they find a carrier (they are a broker, kind of like Travelocity, but with trucks) who will take your car where it needs to go. AF was able to find a carrier in less than 4 hours, and I think I got lucky as ours was one of the last cars he needed to be full and ready to make the cross country trip. I had to sign and formalize my order once they had a carrier and then it was just wait for him to show up. The driver did get hung up and was delayed by a whopping 1 day, actually he was to pick up the car in the evening, but instead was able to get there for the following morning, so more like 12 hours. Then it was off to the races. Or rather the waiting game. Ward (our driver) made the trip in record time and was even with the rain he made it to us with our new car (used new, new to us... whatever). AF did a great job, the carrier was top notch and able to see dings in the car that a normal person would NEVER see. All in all I would most certainly use them again and recommend them to my friends and family. Good luck with your transport!
