This is the second time that i booked with Amerifrieght. The first time they were not able to fulfill the delivery. The excuse that one of the sales rep filling in for Aaron was that it was the "busy time but should have been able to fill the order." AThe sales pitch was horrible and was a big lie. I was hessitant to book again but I needed to ship the car this time.

The order was filed and Amerifrieght had K1 auto carrier to pick up the car the next day. K1 picked it up via flatbed to bring to LA to bring to a trailer. I reviewed K1 and was even more terrified becasue of thier review.

While in transport the driver "Justin" called me over the weekend, and indicated that he will be in NJ by Tuesday to drop of the car. My views was changing until Tuesday came. The guy was supposedly in Springfield NJ which was 20 miles away from my location and shold be here in 2 hours. 2 hours past, 4 hours and now its 9PM. I called and Justin said that he will not make it and that he will be droppoing of my vehicle in the morning. Now its Wed. morning still no car. I get a call at 3pm indicating that he is by my house. When arriving at my house the car, the trailer nor the driver was not there. I called Justin again (the lack of English was very frustrating) and indicated that he was 4 miles away from me at a K-Mart. So much for door to door. I was purplexed since the location was not near any highway. He would have passed my town to go to Kmart and currious why he ended up there. I called Amerifieght of the dilema, and knocked off a whopping 10 bux for gas inconvinience. So much for missing work for 2 days inconvinience.

Once I went to go pick up the car, and inspected it, i was not surprised of the small dent. Amy again was helpful enough to send me their requirements to fill a claim.

The experience was like roller coaster ride. Rating is average.

We are always disappointed when a customer has a less than excellent experience. Unfortunately, the customer did not understand that 'door to door' means that the carrier will get as close to the delivery location as possible. As in this situation, a large parking lot near by accomodated this carrier better. Every carrier we use is screened and insurance confirmed. We only use carriers with top ratings. If for any reason a carrier fails to offer excellent service, we go through a review process to be reconsidered for being a Preferred carrier. Our staff will always be responsive to a customer's issue and will do everything we can to help resolve the situation.
