Amerifrieght found a carrier (Ca to CT) literally within 1/2 hour of initial inquiry. Carrier picked up next AM which surprised me as I hadn't needed a rush order. Cost was more than competitive - $860 - with $163 due at signing and remaining paid in cash/cashiers check at delivery. Place 2 or 3 calls to other highly rated carriers on this site. Most with single trailer - door to door service came in around $1050 . Driver called twice with status/location update. No complaints from my end. Will use again.
