For my car pickup there was an initial communication problem where the transport trucker who first accepted the job then had to back out due to mechanical problems, but that information didn't get to me. As a result I waited home all day for my car pickup which did not occur. However, when I told Amerifreight at the end of the day that the truck never showed as scheduled, in order to rectify the miscommunication they added $50 of their own money to entice another trucker to pick my car up the next day. This was important because, as I explained to Amerifreight, I was leaving town the day after that and would have to leave it to someone else to see my car loaded. My car was picked up the next day as scheduled. so everything worked out fine.

The car transport driver showed up one day later than promised when my car was picked up, but at least he told me that he was going to be a day late so I wasn't kept waiting all day. I can't blame Amerifreight for the trucker arriving one day later than he originally promised. Moreover, the total transport time of 4 days from Atlanta to Chicago was still within the 3 to 5 day window originally eastimated by Amerifreight. There were no problems with my car at delivery. Therefore, my overall experience was positive.
