I somehow have fortunately never hired movers or a car transport before, always relying on myself, but recently I had the true opportunity to do both… I would also never voluntarily do it over again for five star ratings, but the bottom line is that my experience with AmericFreight was incredibly positive compared to the remainder of my move and they provided peace of mind, painless and timely delivery, and excellent customer service. Through this, I need to give a shout out to Brandon, who I worked with and because of whom, I otherwise would not have worked with AmeriFreight. Sure, he was responsive and provided great customer service, similar to many other sales people on the other end of a phone line. But this is a brass tax-type of deal and their quoted price was more than others. Brandon stuck with it, and while negotiating the cost and providing additional assurances potentially included in an agreement, he was somehow able to dodge my skepticism and even hostility after I went down in round two after being held against the ropes and taking a series of strategic body punches from the movers. Obviously he wanted to close the deal, but that’s not what separates him: he has the uncommon, even rare ability to simultaneously balance opposing emotions and interactions, was proactive without being pushy, refreshingly engaging and anticipatory, and provided me with calm confidence while I had (and still have) the distinct sense that he genuinely enjoys and cares about his work and the mission at AmeriFreight. It’s unreal. And when it’s all said and done, here’s the real kicker: AmeriFreight ultimately was not able to negotiate the best rate for me but, instead I spent a couple hundred dollars more for their services because I trusted Brandon with my vehicle. Well, Brandon - you told me so but I’ll never regret the money which was well spent for fantastic, unparalleled service that I believe in.
