First time I've shipped a vehicle 2,000 plus miles. The AmeriFreight team was very good about explaining the process, and just as importantly, the strategy for getting the best price! The vehicle was picked up on time and delivered slightly behind schedule due to weather related road closures - completely understandable. I knew delivery to my rural home would be a challenge so I should have asked my representative at the pick-up to describe the size of the tow vehicle and trailer. In my case, the transporter used a heavy-duty truck and single deck trailer rather than dual-axle tractor with a double-deck trailer which could have reached my home. I'll know better next time to ask those questions!
