Had a long Cadillac shipped from Utah to Virginia, one that had been in a barn for 36 years. The car had to have at least some braking, steering, and rolling ability, which required some effort on my family's part, to ensure it could actually get onto the trailer. The experience with my particular AmeriFreight rep was very good, and any time I requested an update from the dispatcher I got it within five minutes. The driver was skilled in picking up/dropping off the vehicle, and although he only spoke Georgian, we were able to communicate well enough that it really wasn't an issue. As expected, the initial quote received eventually increased, but AmeriFreight was surprisingly able to locate a different transport option that ultimately reduced the price $300. Overall, the car was delivered safely without issue, after a cross-country trip, in only roughly 48 hours.
