I chose Amerifreight for the economical price of shipping as I chose the economy rate. It was the best price I could find from a reputable company. The only issue I had was that it took longer than I expected for our vehicle to be picked up. At first there was miscommunication as I had placed the order on June 8th and had to put it on hold as the people holding the vehicle left for a week. Then about June 17th I faxed my signed order form to officially have the vehicle shipped and it was confirmed via email that it was recieved by email from Raechel. She stated everything was good to go. A little less than two weeks passed and no notice of vehicle dispatch was heard so I called Amy to ask how it was coming. Apparently the hold was never removed even after I faxed in my order form. She corrected it and then about July 16 I recieved a call from Amerifreight stating that a carrier was being dispatched the next day or two. Vehicle was picked up on 7-17 and delivered on 7-24. The biggest issue was that the hold wasn't removed for some reason which delayed it for a couple weeks. The other issue is that it wasn't clear to me that the economy rate is a standby ticket waiting to get on an available truck as Amerifreight advertises that economy rate is pickup within 5-7 days but didn't explain any further.
