I have shipped cars a bunch of times and have had mixed experiences. I recently just shipped my daughter's car from AZ to Indy using AmeriFreight as the broker of record. I had received a quote from Danielle Roth and she proceeded to work to find me a shipper. There was no shortage of shippers willing to fulfill the order however the rates were coming in significantly higher than the estimate. I realized that the estimate is simply an estimate yet I also had flexibility to be patient. My patience paid off, and I need to thank Danielle and team for sticking with me as I wanted to get to a rate that was within 10% of their estimate. Unfortunately, due to the lack of truck drivers and high gas costs, the cost to ship a car has nearly doubled since I first shipped a car back in 2015. The shipper that took my car was a two car flatbed who happened to be going from AZ to Indy. So it was perfect. I met the transport about 1/2 mile from my home (my streets are narrow) and he was professional and careful loading my car. He picked it up on Friday afternoon and delivered it to my daughter's home on Sunday evening. Car was in great shape (albeit dirty from the trip). So a big shout-out to Danielle Roth from AmeriFreight and Jalen who handled the actual transport. Will definitely use AmeriFreight again to ship cars.
