After contacting several transport companies, I heard back from Kallie, the customer service advisor from AmeriFreight Car Shipping, responding to my inquiry about shipping my car from FL to IL. She was very helpful, gave me a quote, and explained the process of posting the route and having shippers respond to it. The quote and the actual price paid differed by my paying $700 more; but was still competitive with other transport companies. If I had a bigger window to get the car shipped, I would have shopped more, but with my time frame, I was satisfied. Thanks to the hard work of the advisor, we were able to get the vehicle assigned and shipped in a timely fashion. The process was not without problems: the first two shippers who accepted the job did not follow through, but Kallie persisted and kept me informed as she diligently worked to find a reliable shipper. The shipper that came was very professional; keeping me informed from the time the job was accepted. The car was picked up and delivered in record time—because the home streets were not long enough for an actual door-to-door , the driver came as close as he could to the address. The sites chosen were very close and worked perfectly. Both the shipping company and the AmeriFreight advisors were great. Kallie was very helpful, supportive, and resourceful in getting the job done. She kept me informed and followed through. Ask for her if you need car shipping services.
