I contacted AmeriFreight along with a couple other car movers not knowing what to expect, although we are military retired I had never shipped a car. AmeriFreight came highly recommended from the military community. Their quote was lowest I received, and Baylee Ivey contacted me by text to see if I had any questions or if I wanted to start the process (no pressure). I explained I was moving my 85 year old Asian mom(communication issues!) across country from MI to WA state, and was trying to find a way to get her car here. The process was explained to me, how they start the bidding until a carrier accepts the rate. I was on a 2-3 week time frame with my moms move and worried that we wouldn’t find a carrier in time, so I asked them to start the process. All the forms and payment to begin I was able to do online, and they began searching. BAYLEE CALLED ME THE NEXT MORNING with a carrier who could pick up that evening!! I was able to sign everything online and the Carrier was AWESOME!! He communicated by text with me, giving me his time estimates so I could communicate with my mom, took over 50 pictures of the car and sent everything to me along with tracking info. She didn’t have to do a thing but give him the keys. He picked up the car on the evening of 4/26 in MI and although was estimated for 5/3, he arrived 5/1, 2 days early. As with pick up, delivery was just as smooth and his communication was fantastic. All along the way, Baylee checked in with me to make sure everything was ok and see if we had any questions. And did I mention the rate they got me was over $200 less than the next closest quote?. I highly recommend AmeriFreight! Thank you Baylee and everyone involved with helping make at least one thing about moving my mother easy ??
