My wife and I had problems with the carrier that Amerifreight outsourced, but Amy, a manager, was extremely sympathetic to our position and anxious to help us resolve the situation. However, through this entire process Amerifreight's personnel were extremely difficult to get in contact with. Phone calls were returned late or not at all by the sales person who also failed to iterate important facts, like what payment methods are acceptable upon receipt of the vehicle. While the management was helpful and grateful for our business, the sales team and dispatcher had a general attitude of nonchalance and indifference.

We are currently working with this customer to resolve the issue. The customer has been very gracious and patient with us as we are working on this. We are disappointed that we were unable to provide excellent service in the communication area and are taking steps to ensure this will not be a problem with future customers. If a carrier fails to offer excellent service to our customers, their 'preferred carrier' status is reviewed.
