Due to this being my first vehicle transport, I really didn't know where to start. So, I searched for the "top five vehicle transport companies". AmeriFreight was listed among these and I contacted each for a quote. They all had their own sale pitches and they ranged within $300.00 of each other.. I do not believe the highest bid is the best company nor the lowest being of inferior service. It basically boils down to the rep. answering the questions you have and whom you feel most comfortable with. I initially went with one company, but communications and negotiations broke down and I lost confidence in them. I called AmeriFreight next and hooked up with Cosmo. He was knowledgeable, well spoken, and not pushy. Timing is a major concern in this business. There must be a car carrier in the area where your vehicle is to be picked up, become fully loaded within a reasonable distance, with all vehicles having a similar delivery destination to make the transport worthwhile to the transporter as well as for you. Timing, locations, distance, full load. I must have lucked out and I had my vehicle from Phoenix, Az. to Buffalo, NY in 8 days. Driver kept me updated, vehicle delivered undamaged. and the complete transaction was issue free. Did I get the best deal monetarily? I'll never know. I got what I thought was a fair deal for both AmeriFreight and myself. I can highly recommend Amerifreight upon this experience. If I need to ship again I will call them first Will I ship with them? It will depend on all the above factors being satisfactory fulfilled. Respectfully submitted, Tom
