I have shipped thru Amerifreight three time in the last 2 years. The service as always polite and quick by Ameifreight. The drivers always turned out to be friendly and courteous. I was told my initial estimate was the average for the number of miles the vehicle would be transported. Apparently not adjusted for time of year or recent bookings for similar trips. Thus the initial quote is for all intents and purposes is fiction. I have found the pickup dates and drop-off dates too flexible. Since I was traveling to my destination by air, I was left to be without a car for days or have a car delivered with no one to receive it. These two problems are very real. If the people involved can eliminate or at least minimize these problems, the car transport process would be much more manageable and appealing. I realize these problems are not unique to this broker but the industry needs to improve.
