Overall this was a positive experience shipping our vehicles. This review is for Amerifreight as the broker and Gigi Line Inc as the carrier for the transport of 2 vehicles from the Bay Area to Chicago. I reached out to Amerifreight 6 weeks before the transport date and was given an estimate of ~$2k for 2 vehicles in the value tier. The actual cost was ~$2500 for broker fee + transport. The carrier was identified 6 days prior to the ship date. Sydni from Amerifreight provided great customer service. She responded quickly to the estimate request and walked me through the process. I had no problems getting ahold of her when I had any questions. The only downside about this experience is the carrier was not able to pick up or drop off our vehicles at residential addresses. We had to meet in a nearby large parking lot to load & unload the vehicles, which provided some logistical challenges for us, as I had hoped for door to door service. On the plus side the vehicles arrived super quick - in 3 days they made it safely to their destination.
