This was the first time I had to ship a vehicle and my overall experience was great. Carovanzieus was my Representative and she was amazing. AmeriFreight quote system is questionable for the fact I was first quoted $1100 to ship from Boston MA. to Reno NV. I went with because of that but when the first bid came in it was $2100 which was quite a shock. So I’m assuming they use the low quotes to stand out and get the call from the customer because who doesn’t want to save money. I ended up taking the second offer, which was a couple hundred less the. $2100, so that was better but still a lot higher then my original quote. I did choose to do the $78 afta plan for just in case cuz u never know and $78 is worth the piece of mind. The shipping process was pretty smooth. The car came off the truck just as it was put on. It took a total of 3 days from when they picked up to dropped off. Which is rare I think because I caught a break and got team drivers. It took 14 days from when I signed up with AmeriFreight to drop off. One thing I would ask AmeriFreight is when the customer calls in to let them know what it is more likely going to cost. I would have rated a 3-4 stars but Carovanzieus my AmeriFreight rep was more then a star herself. If it wasn’t for her I would have dropped AmeriFreight after the first quote. I would recommend AmeriFreight. Just know when it comes to shipping cars there is a broker(AmeriFreight) and the carriers(driver) so if a company (not AmeriFreight) is saying they have a truck or something in the area or whatever they aren’t be truthful because they are just the broker, there is no way around this. Unless you drive it yourself.
