AmeriFreight Should Have Been My First Choice

I purchased a brand new truck from an out-of-state dealership and opted to use an auto shipping company to get it to my residence. This was my first time shipping a vehicle, so I did what everyone does nowadays and Google searched companies. There are many online articles talking about the "best" shipping companies, so I randomly picked one whose name I won't mention here...but it rhymes with FONTWAY. The reps I spoke with from that company all promised me the best deal and said the same thing: that I would get my truck within 5 business days. Well, long story short, after a week of not even having a driver (carrier) assigned for the job, no delivery date scheduled, no return phone calls from the previous reps I spoke with, and just poor customer service overall, I realized that company was not the one for me. I chose to contact AmeriFreight next for another quote and my experience was completely different. I spoke with MELISSA DOSSETT from AmeriFreight and she was friendly, informative, and extremely helpful. She heard my previous experience with "rhymes with FONTWAY" and promised to take care of me. BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THAT I GOT MY TRUCK HOME THE VERY NEXT DAY! Throughout the entire process, MELISSA DOSSETT provided me with detailed status updates, which made me feel that I selected the right company. Plus, the driver who delivered my truck was also great. Yes, I paid a little bit more to get my truck delivered, but working with MELISSA DOSSETT from AmeriFreight was all worth it because she is a first-class professional.
