We shipped a BMW i3 with AmeriFreight from Miami to Charlottesville last month.. Maleah, the agent we dealt with, was professional and supported us the whole way, and the price was good.. AmeriFreight serves to connect you with towing services. They vet the services, but if intermediary towers are used, I blame the actual towing service, not AmeriFreight., for any problem that arises. The problem was that the towing service did not know how to properly tow an electric vehicle, meaning our i3 got to its destination with multiple computer faults that made it undrivable. It had to be towed to the dealer. According to the BMW technician, who can spot time and date of error messages, this was entirely attributable to the way the car was towed. Again, not blaming AmeriFreight for this. The tow company says they'll reimburse me for the cost of clearing the computer--luckily, they didn't destroy the whole drive train (which would have been up to a 9K fix:). I'd use AmeriFreight again, but would double and triple check that that the towing company they arrange with actually has a clue when it comes to EVs.
