This was the second time we used Amerifreight to ship my daughter ‘s Honda Civic. We used Samantha Smith again because of her great customer service the first time around and we weren’t disappointed. Samantha always returns your call or text and keeps you updated. This time it was high season so we didn’t get a driver until two days before our desired pickup date. It was a little stressful. but Samantha and the team at AmeriFreight kept us informed and assured us we would get a driver. I gave four stars instead of five because the driver did not pick up the car when he said he would. We had a Premium two day pickup and the driver and my daughter agreed that the car would be picked up Saturday. She said she didn’t care which day but she had to know in advance what day it was going to be. That’s how it worked last time. Around 3pm on Saturday my daughter called the driver to ask about the pickup and said he wouldn’t be able to make it because he had two more pickups before hers. He would have to pick it up Sunday afternoon and would have to rest 34 hours first by law. He said he sent her a text but she never got it. I think he should have called her to make she got the message. So he finally picked up her car in Tampa 4:45 Sunday. On delivery, her Honda was the first car off the truck and the driver was amazing. He came at the agreed time, drove the car off the carrier, and parked it in front of my house. He helped us try to make payment by VEMO and finally suggested we pay by credit with a small fee. We paid $1800 for the transport from Florida to NJ. I wish my daughter had a good experience with the pick up. We really weren’t worried about delivery because my husband and I were with her and she didn’t have to worry about packing, movers and having her car transported before catching a plane.
