My experience was great. I spoke to a few other companies and they wanted me to pay some of the total amount just to start the process. With Amerifreight I was only asked to pay anything after they've found a carrier for shipping my car, only if I decide to move forward. Their initial quote was a little misleading in that it's the price they bid to transport your car with a carrier, before including their cut. Regardless of that, I received a call back from them when I felt the price was high and I was able to ship for a very affordable rate. The carrier they've matched me with was excellent. My car arrived half-way across the country in just two days.
