My first time to ship a car. I did my research and determine cost. Be prepared for agent cost. It was a bit confusing as the agent kept claiming their fee was a "deposit". This could be more straight forward in saying what it is. A booking fee. After adjusting to that, AmeriFreight worked with me, even when complications on the destination end changed and I had to delay the ship. Once things settled on the destination, they came through. Transport arrived on time, was ready and able to move the car. Car arrived at destination as quoted. Their transportation personnel of DIAS & LEITE SERVICES AND TRANSPORT LLC, was personable, patient. I would recommend/request if possible. Scheduling was a bit of hit and miss. With transportation like this, be ready within 1-2 hours to ship. While several quotes were 1-2 days, the final was within 2 hours from notification to car gone on the transport. I would use AmeriFreight again as an agent. Do your homework. Know what the process is, and research cost. Agent fees/deposits are not fixed, neither is shipping cost.
