I had never shipped a car within the country before, and with the help of Melissa at Amerifreight, I was able to have my car shipped to Austin Texas, within an appropriate time frame. I was on the fence whether I should ship my car, or embark on the long road trip myself. I ended up shipping and it was the best decision. From the get-go Melissa was upfront with me regarding cost and how the process would work. It did take a few days for my car to get accepted by a carrier, but Melissa even helped me get a better rate by recommending I drop off my car at a location closer to the major interstate so it would be easier for the shipping company. Ultimately, it was well worth the money because of the excellent service and the follow-ups from Melissa, even after my car had been delayed a couple days. Know that this process requires patience and flexibility, there are a lot of moving parts. In the end, I got my car where I needed it without any issues or damage to the car. I am thankful for this experience and for Melissa's diligent attention.
