At the time of my initial contact with Amerifrieght on May 11, 2009, they were in the midst of making policy, procedure and price changes. I had conversation a with Rachel (sp?) where she quoted me delivery/rate options and explained how the process worked and what I should expect if I used their company.
Many things I discussed with Rachel were not consistent with the companies follow-up emails to me, BUT what I know from my personal experience as a sales person, is that the real sales doesn't begin until there is a problem or concerns from the customer!
Amy at Amerifreight handled each and every one of my concerns with patience and sincere consideration. They resolved all my concerns and their miscommunications professionally, quickly and to my satisfaction. I am still amazed at how quickly Amy personally replied to my emails with complete answers and not with I'll get back to you.
My only big inconvenience was having to send and reply to emails as their changes were going into effect.
I don't think they broke any rules to provide this service, they simply stood by their promises. As a final note, the transporter was professional and kept me informed from the time he pick-up my 1968 VW to calling me the night before delivery. He even made adjustments to his delivery schedule in order to deliver my car to me around my holiday plans. I would definitely recommend Amerifreight to my friends and use them again myself!
