Clear Wording Is All That is Needed

Overall I was very satified with my shipment except for a few things. The main issue I had is that I scheduled my pick-up 3 1/2 months in advance. I called the day prior to my earliest pick-up and was told a carrier had not been assigned yet. So I had to change to the other option of within 2 to 3 business days. I assumed by giving that much notice on the delivery, the company would have the time to square this away to be on the earliest pick-up date. I guess it's true what they say when you assume. So with that I had to pay an extra $200. I paid it, because I was on a time schedule. Wouldn't you know it, they found a carrier that same day and it would only cost me $100 extra if I would meet them a hour and half short on my final destination and if not, it would be the full $200. So I met the carrier short of my final destination, drove like crazy to get there, only to have to wait another 8 hours for delievery.Also instead of the carrier finding a suitable place to off load such as truck stop, I had to find one myself in a town I had never been to. Other than those issues, the condition of my car and the driver I dealt with were outstanding.
