Amerifreight Car Shipping provides an excellent broker service. Agent Millie was very friendly and helpful in hooking me up with up a carrier to haul my Cadillac from Alexandria VA to Charleston SC. They gave me a quote for $557 and indicated it might happen quickly. It took about a week for a carrier to respond to the bid and when one did it was on very short (one hour) notice for pickup. The bid from DFS Auto Transport Services was for $650 a bit higher than I anticipated but I went for it. Jerome the driver was very pleasant to work with. He used a three car trailer to haul the vehicle and delivered the vehicle late the next day. Amerifreight charged a $200 fee payable by credit card when the carrier was assigned. Most brokers wanted $250. Jerome was paid $450 in cash when delivered the vehicle. Overall it was an interesting experience. I would go with them again the next time I need to ship a car.
